I’m the Professor. Just a few days after Update 2, another update has landed! This one is packed with quality-of-life (QoL) changes that make everyday play smoother. A fantastic update!
📌 Key points
- Place color-customizable markers on the map (shared in multiplayer)
- The compass shows whether a target is above or below you
- Shift+drag to move items in bulk
- The Chicken Coop tier drops from 5 to 3, so you get eggs early
- Grimoire summons add a ranged ally
Handier Map Markers and Compass
You can now place icons (markers) with custom colors on your map, and you can even share them with friends in multiplayer. It feels almost exactly like the markers in Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
On top of that, you can change the compass display in the options so it shows whether a destination is above or below you. A huge help when exploring caves!
Shift+Drag to Move Inventory Items in Bulk
KeniPoyo says this is the biggest highlight of the update. Just hold Shift and drag to move a whole bunch of items at once. Sorting your chests is truly stress-free now.
Chicken Coops Early in the Game
The tier required for the
Chicken Coop dropped from 5 to 3. That means you can have a steady supply of eggs fairly early on.
Smarter Grimoire Summons
The grimoire skeletons added in Update 2 have gotten smarter across the board, and there’s a new ranged attacker ally too. In the video, KeniPoyo gets his revenge on the golem that wiped out his team last time, and wins! Its big hits make it a real asset.
Visuals and More
- New costumes and a hard hat (the perfect look for building in Creative mode)
- Cracked blocks added
- Bug fixes and texture tweaks
Once you try Shift+drag, there’s no going back. Together with map markers, this update makes exploring and organizing so much easier.
