Hytale Update 6 Part 1: Block Palette Presets Make Building Easy

アップデート6 パート1まとめ|ブロックパレットプリセットでビルドが革命的に便利に

I’m the Professor. Starting today, the Update 6 pre-release is live! The highlight of Part 1 is something builders will love: block palette presets!

📌 Key Points

  • A new Palette feature in Creative (block palette presets)
  • Save block combinations and call them up anytime
  • Fills the space between two materials with an automatic gradient
  • Updated sound effects for cloth blocks, brambles and more

What Are Block Palette Presets?

When you open your inventory in Creative mode, there’s now a “Palette” tab next to Settings. It’s a feature that lets you save as many combinations of your favorite blocks and objects as you like, and call them up anytime.

How to Use It

  1. In your inventory, click Palette → Open
  2. Move the slider to see blocks and objects that match that color (you can also filter to just blocks, just objects, and so on)
  3. Drag the ones you like into the palette bar at the bottom
  4. Place materials at both ends of the gradient area in the middle, and it will fill the space between them with an automatic gradient
  5. Save it and give it a name
  6. From the arrow menu in your inventory, pull it straight into your hotbar

If you’re out swinging a sword on adventures this won’t matter much, but for builders who care about color schemes it’s a really handy tool.

Sound Effect Changes

The sound effects for cloth blocks, brambles and more have changed. They’re polishing even the small details!

Big updates don’t come every time. When they do, we’ll make some noise; otherwise, we’ll keep following along like this.

🧪
Professor’s note
Palettes save you a ton of time hunting for blocks with similar colors. Try them out for things like gradient exterior walls!
