The Professor
I’m the Professor. Part 1 last time was a bit thin, but this update brings a “decent” batch of changes.
📌 Key points this time
- Emotes (waving and more) are now available
- Hold to water a 3×3 area of 9 tiles at once
- Furnaces now run on in-game time (sleeping speeds them up)
- The chilli-loving bird now lays eggs
- Two half blocks combine into a full block
Emotes
Press X to use several emotes. Wave at your friends and have some fun together while you play.
Easier Watering
Crops grow even without water, but watering them one tile at a time used to be a chore. Now you can hold the button to water a 3×3 area (9 tiles) in one go. Farming just got a whole lot easier.
Furnaces Now Run on In-Game Time
Furnace progress has switched from real time to in-game time. In other words, sleeping makes it progress too. Before, the timer stopped if you wandered far from the Furnace, but now if you load ore before bed, it’ll be nearly done by morning.
Creatures
- The chilli-loving bird now lays eggs in the Chicken Coop. A great candidate for your farm!
White Wolves and 
Black Wolves got smarter and now split up to flank you from both sides- A sound effect now plays when you earn Memories by meeting a new NPC
Inventory & Building
- The backpack display has changed, making it easier to see what’s inside
- Placing two half blocks together makes a full block (great news for builders)
- Block name changes and bug fixes
Having the Furnace keep working while you sleep is mighty handy. Make it a habit: load your ore into the Furnace before turning in for the night.
