Hytale Update 5 Part 7: Controller Support, 9 Emotes & /kit

アップデート5 パート7まとめ|ついにコントローラー対応・エモート9種・/kitコマンド

I’m the Professor. It’s finally here! Update 5 Part 7 brings official controller support — the biggest feature of Update 5.

📌 Key Points

  • Controller support (button layout, vibration, sensitivity and Y-axis invert are all configurable)
  • Prefab list gets a 3D viewer
  • 9 new emotes added
  • Giant NPC freeze bug fixed
  • Get a full gear set instantly with the /kit command

Controller Support

You can now play Hytale with a controller. You can fine-tune the following in the settings:

  • Button layout
  • Vibration
  • Sensitivity
  • Y-axis invert

Great news for anyone who wants to kick back on the couch and play. Later, in Update 6, it even got gyro controls so you can aim by tilting your controller (Update 6 Part 7).

3D Viewer in the Prefab List

The list where you pick prefabs like buildings now has a 3D viewer, so you can tell what each one looks like at a glance.

9 New Emotes

Nine new emotes have been added. According to KeniPoyo, some of the moves look like a tribute to a certain giant-fighting anime!

Giant NPC Freeze Fixed

The NPC resizing added in Update 5 Part 4 had a bug where NPCs made giant would freeze. That’s now fixed.

/kit Command

A new /kit command has been added. Type something like /kit iron or /kit adamantite, and you instantly get a full set of gear in that material. A handy command that’s a real lifesaver when you’re testing things or recording videos.

🧪
Professor’s note
Controller support is an important step toward letting even more people play Hytale. And /kit is a handy one to remember!
