Hi! I’m KeniPoyo, the only person in Japan playing Hytale. This time it’s all about outposts in the Goblin Breach.
In my last couple of videos I said the Void Fiend lives under the purple outpost. Sorry, I looked into it again: every type of outpost in a Goblin Breach has a Void Fiend in its basement. If you judge by looks alone, you’ll walk right past it.
So for beginners, here are the outpost types, what each one is good for, and which one gives you the most.
The short version
- A Goblin Breach has up to 2 outposts, and at least 1 every time
- There are 4 types, and every one has an entombed Void Fiend underground
- The best one for beginners is the Goblin outpost. It always has 3 Shiny Scrap Piles
- If the basement scares you, the surface alone is worth it
4 kinds of outposts

The four outposts are Enkindled Skeleton, Goblin, Void and Spider. The Void outpost is purple so you can spot it from far away, but for the others you have to walk up and check.
What they all share is an entombed Void Fiend in the basement. If you’re confident in your fighting, break the seal and take it on.

Beat it for a Voidheart and a Veilbound Key. The key vanishes when you leave the Breach, so use it right there. See how to farm Voidhearts.
The four outposts one by one
Enkindled Skeleton outpost
Mostly skeleton enemies. If you’re collecting materials to repair the Goblin Lab, it’s lower priority. The Void Fiend underground is still worth it, and it’s fine if you want skeleton materials.
Spider and Void outposts

These two give you useful materials like Spider Silk and Essence of the Void. Definitely worth clearing.

The best one: the Goblin outpost

Out of all of them, my top pick is the Goblin outpost. You get Scraps from the goblins of course, but it also always has 3 Shiny Scrap Piles.

- 5–15 Scraps and 1 Dubious Assembly every time
- A 33% chance for a Runestone Shard
- 5% each for an Enkindled Sigil and Bundled Treasure, materials you’d normally only get from elite mobs
If you’re a beginner who needs Scraps to repair the Goblin Lab, clear this one first. Everything junk piles drop is in the Goblin junk drop guide.
Farm it all from the surface
There’s one more reason I recommend it: you can farm efficiently on the surface alone.
The Goblin outpost is only one of the four types, so think of it as a lucky find.
Wrap-up
That’s my recommended spot in the Goblin Breach. Hit the Goblin outpost first, and since there’s a Void Fiend underground, try the basement too when you’re ready.
